My brother & my son both cook. I hate baking! I'd rather nuke something in a microwave. I had a tuna fish sandwich for lunch. One of my wife's brothers owns & runs a bakery in Iowa. As a teenager, this brother baked cakes & made a mess of his mother's kitchen.

Agreed. Getting in over your head is how you push your limits and skills.
i got some vinyl paper and am going to try and make some cricut masks. also going to try some more stencil stuff on next few bodies. it’s been like 100F outside so little too hot to sit and airbrush for couple hours.

Have you tried liquid mask? I love it for windows. Only thing is , when you think you have removed it (wet) you really want to quadruple check.

Did you know that you can put brownies in the microwave and put them on ice cream?
However, you cannot put slot car bodies in the microwave or, in your ice cream or,in your toster oven !
Because, they would be......
Meeeeeltinggggg,etc.
PS: well, not in the ice cream 🤔

1) you don't have to shovel it
2) you don't get stuck in it
3) your acrylic paint won't freeze from it
4) unfortunately, water lines don't burst from it
(usually) 🤑

Yes, it does look nice. What chassis & motor did you hide beneath it? What's the balancing clear you mixed with final coats? I've heard of the RC guys spraying a coat of something for a final coat to make the top colors more durable & scratch resistant.

it’s a JK wide pan Indy chassis. They run pretty good and this body fits the long guide lead and the big front wheels look cool. it’s called 4030 balancing clear not actually a clear coat you mix a bit in with your paint. think it for sure helps. before I’d just look at a body wrong and scratch paint off.
