I did not flatten the wire.
But I know what you are getting at.
If that was what I was shooting for, I would have used a thinner wire and doubled or tripled it on the outside to get more width.

When I first saw it, I thought it had a Camen nose, but then I saw it was wire and had lead on top.
The rails and motor box look like they're from the old Camen stuff. Very similar to what Ted Matkowski used to build as a plurimeter in the early '90s. I still have one of the Matkowskis.
Found a pic of a camen online. I don't have this chassis.
Here's Ted at the Zeppelin nats. Team Ultalite used to come to the Island for all the races.
My opinion on that chassis: could be a Bill Price (Florida). He used to make crazy single wire I-15 frames

when did steel chassis obsolete wire chassis?
