Top 3 within same lap a few feet apart. Jimmy won by inches over Weaver and Matt about 7 feet back.

I watched the main in the pro coupe class yesterday and the F1 today.
They were as good as any sporting event I have seen in a long time.

The system was wrong. Jimmy won, Weaver 2nd Matt 3rd
I figured there must have been a crash I missed at the end to let Matt back by for the win, but not so.
Still a great race.

The system was wrong. Jimmy won, Weaver 2nd Matt 3r
I was wondering what the heck happened.
I remembered seeing Jimmy getting by Matt with less than a minute and Weaver shortly after.
I thought maybe they both got knocked off near the end.

I wonder if he software developer can explain how such a glitch can occur at such a critical time?
Great close race!

From reading Carsten's explanation how the system works, my uneducated guess is that it got fooled by Matt finishing on a slower lane and his valiant effort to stay ahead and never falling off in that effort.

My apologies to Jimmy Williams, John Weaver, and Matt Bruce.
Up to the end-of-race-time, and start of the run-out period, the system displayed the correct data with Jimmy as winner:
However after the end of the 2 second run-out period, an incorrect zone estimation was applied to black lane (Matt Bruce).
The car passed after end-of-time, in the Run-Out period, and should have been credited with a ".00" zone estimate, as did Blue and Purple.
For a yet unknown reason, the system estimated "0.31" which unfortunatly put Black/Matt as winner. That is, of course, not correct.
To have correct results, you should always use the function of "Manual zone correction."
My sincere appologies,
Carsten Groennemann

With my 4th and 5th birthday party this weekend, I haven't had a lot of time to watch the racing, but the C Main looks like it was a good race with 6th place only 6 laps behind the leader.

The computer says Jimmy Williams won in Can-Am.
But it kinda depends on how you look at it. Jimmy's is the car in the orange lane and John Weaver's is in white.
What a race!

Just when you though they couldn't top their close finishes.
Noose said they gave Jimmy the win.
IMO, that is correct because his car is on the inside on both of the 2 turns before the lap counter.

But John ran him down at the end and John's car is closer to the straight than Jimmy's.
I am not arguing with the results.. Just saying it could have gone either way.

Neither of the things you mention matter.
Jimmy's car clearly went farther in 24 minutes.
When Grand Raceway did both of their Hasse King tracks in the '80s, Csaba S., an architect, marked the sections correctly, using arcs, vs 90 degree perpendicular lines to the slot.

Never mind, forget I said a thing.
But what does it matter that Jimmy was inside corner in two turns on the other end if the track?
