After the F-1 B main Peter Lentros suffered a stroke. At this time, he is stable in Tufts Medical Center in Boston. I will tell all of you, that everything happened perfectly. He had finished his racing. He went down in a crowd of great guys. I know his daughter and how to reach her. With that said the paramedics ask some simple questions: name, DOB, medical conditions, doctor’s name, and contact information. Having worked for Peter I know some of the answers but not all. So here is my question to all of you reading this, does someone you are with when you are having your worst day know the answers to most if not all of these questions. Those answers could save your life. So put a note in your wallet, slot car box, glove compartment with some useful information. Maybe check with your doctor about what you should list or ask a doctor, paramedic, or nurse, it might help some day and I hope you never need it.

Best wishes to Peter.

These suggestions are well worth adopting!

Cheers

and, wear a medical alert bracelet noting any spl meds or treatments that you are on. for example: nitro, diabetic, dialysis, (no bp on the arm where your fistula is), blood thinners, kemo, etc. paramedics are trained to look for these bracelets.

Hello Peter, if I counted correctly, you were a participant and 13 races, impressive and I wish you a speedy recovery and all the best. A few years ago, we did business with Monogram slot car store display item and I found you to be a total gentleman in this transaction. Mark Mattei.

Peter has been moved out of the ICU and they are talking about sending him to rehab Monday.

He is teaching all the doctors and nurses about slot cars.

His family wants to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the update Rich. Praying for a speedy recovery for Peter. I know CD and I are already looking forward to this event next year. It was something different that we needed in Retro for a big event. Hopefully we can draw more racers next year.

Thanks Gary.

I'm always looking for ways to make it better. So I will listen to any suggestions for change or what should not change.
