I started with slot cars 1970 and R/C 1973. Drove both up to 1991 and then realized R/C meaning building 95% and racing 5% - a bad equation. And expensive scrapped cars..So I continued slot and still do it but diminishing as the wing cars begin to be too fast. Meaning wrecked cars mostly. Luckily there are flexi cars which are nice to drive on enduro races.
