Remember current safety standards require a window net.

Thank you for the well wishes.   :)

I'm working on the shift lever, it will get gauge faces (though nowhere near as nice as Martin's) but no safety net Bob.

I forgot to show the interior that Victor sent along with the body (thanks again Victor!). It's a Russkit Iso Grifo interior and it's left hand drive. He cut the back half off with the spare tire and gas filler.

A white True Scale repo Iso Grifo interior is shown in the photo below. I added the white sheet styrene to make the back half, a roll bar of aluminum rod and a Russkit driver head:

I'm doing a "Fantasy Livery", not a scale livery, on my RSR like the pictures of the MESAC Super Coupe class cars. Still, I was going to loosely pattern my livery after this race car:

I found most of the decals needed on eBay:

Unfortunately, painting the body metallic silver didn't work out. I needed to come up with a different color that would go with my dark red interior:

Black goes with the interior great and I don't have a single black vac bodied car............until now.   :D

Time to put all the pieces together:

Thanks again to Victor and Rodney for the chance to build a tribute to such a unique piece of MESAC history.   :D

The RSR is finished and looks pretty cool I think:

Looks great Rick! I especially love the look of those huge flares hanging over those gorgeous wheels.  :good:
