Mike; Pin tubes are easiest. But spacer them up off the pans with 3/32nds inch square tubing, to give you more "meat" between them and the lower body sills.

That bracket does look like the BWA bracket, that I believe REH sold. The narrow bracket from Chicagoland works just as well if you are using piano wire rails.

For those looking for a vintage narrow bracket, Electric Dreams has the old Ruskit brackets for 16Ds.

Not familiar with that type of motor. Could you elaborate on the specks?

Mike's motor is a Mabuchi FF050; These are a popular motor for 1/32, especially scratchbuilts. They are available in various RPMs from about 10K to 50K. The lower RPM range is available on eBay, mostly direct from China. For higher RPM motors, contact Slot Car Corner in CT. They have a website for online ordering, I got 3 or 4 low RPM motors for less than $5 & they arrived from China okay. These FF050 motors have 1.5 mm arm shafts. .078 pinions won't work unless you can get the proper tubing o sleeve them down, but 1.5 mm pinions are available.

I bought a card of Russkit motor brackets when Parma was selling them for 19 cents.

I posted the chassis pic in response to Mark’s query under my Revell Shelby Cobra body post. The motor is a Predator FK-050 from Slot Car Corner rated at 40K and 92 gm-cm @12V. As Bill said this motor size is seen in 1/32 scale scratchbuilds and Policar uses it in their F1 RTR cars with great results. The motor bracket is a new release made for Slot Car Corner.

To everyone else, sorry for the thread drift.

Mark, Parma bought some of Russkit's assets when they closed up. Most popular item was the Russkit controller.

Mike, thanks for indicating SCC sells the bracket. I know they were selling improved versions of a couple JK 16D brackets.

Another variant of the previously posted 330P/LM.
And a very, very minty one at that.
