Mad Mark, keep it coming, you have perked several people's interest. I'm still going to repost the factory propaganda,in the lower portion, they have some recommendations for gear ratios.

Alnico magnets lose field strength often. Test this "Frankenslot" idea: Use two button neodymium magnets to boost the old magnets. Just let them stick to the motor and see if it runs better.
