I'd say so; the rivets are a good clue.Jairus,

Another very nice job, as always. Thanks for the photos. Interesting and different to see an all-steel chassis on this one, and the matching orange guide, lead wires, and endbell is a nice touch. 8). Sure hope you can keep the rust at bay!
Do you have a site where there are photos of the slot bodies you have painted?
Thanks,
Col

About the only site with all of them is here on Slotblog. All the cars that I can show, that is . . . Because some customers don't want their stuff made public.
Best thread is this one!

The two things I noticed different was possibly the blue around the windscreen? And also, are the air ducts cut out on each side of the cockpit?
Nice job either way, as always . . .
Geesh . . . how do you guys do it?

The second, also a replica, is for a Sundance/Gilbert complete running car built following the instructions found in Car Model magazine. (Pictures posted when complete.)
These bodies are ready to mount and run, with slight adjustments to rear wheel clearance . . .
Enjoy!

Beautiful work as usual. What body have you used for the "wave" body? It looks great. I believe the original type that Ted Coates used (Ferrari?) hasn't been reproduced by anyone today.
Of all the paint schemes this must be one of the most original and outstanding designs ever created. Its has all the "far out" techniques of the day happening there. Interestingly, if you have a good look at the Car Model piece there seems to be two of these bodies that Ted painted in the article, very similar but different. Maybe Dona ripped one in half when she was marshalling! Oh Dona!

That is a M.A.C. Ferrari 612 body. Not correct but at this time it is as close as possible. I have a correct Kirby Ferrari 312P, same as what Sundance used, that I have backpoured and hopefully be able to vacuum form some of my own bodies from.
Maybe in the future I can make a more "authentic" Gilbert/Sundance car . . . but until then, this is as close as I can get.

Kai, I don't have anymore pictures of the wheels but maybe this will help?
