Do you guys think the mirror on Morrissey's car is on top of the dashboard or the windscreen

It is a Russkit mirror as used on the Eagle and Porsche 906. It is mounted through a small hole drilled on top of the windshield, then a dab of contact cement locking it in place at the bottom.

Beautiful car Rick! I think thats one reason I love the Lotus 40 is I was a Team Russkit fan and one of Mikes also! Hey he used Team CORT color as well!

Yup, it's a "Russkit Small Slant Guide" from the 60's. The gauges are decals from Pattos Place. Bruce also has the number decals and meat balls (roundels).

Hi Joe,
Sorry I missed your question before. Yes the front body mounting pin tube is the drop arm pivot tube as well. It's also thought that Mike's original car didn't have the two tubes I used to connecting the two body mount tubes together at the full width of the body.
