Dear Tom
look at a pretty common plastic club track as they exist in Italy or in Europe (this is Soragna's Ninco) and tell me if that is for sissies:

    Full of GLUE (from what looks like WET spots in the pic,,,that or sombody peed on the track 'cause they ooooooh   were goin too fast...oooooh   ) AND WAAAAY tooo many FLAT turns!!!! Gimmeee at least 125 feet of straightaway into a ten foot tall banked turn!!!!   !!! Thats for REAL MEN!!!!  ;) ;)

I see, Tom. So real men are afraid of curves?

Hi Bob
you're a doll when you're so effective! Thanks for the help

BTW Guys, all along this thread all the cars and the chassis have been published already but let me propose you again the Winner's of the 1/24 F&S chassis:

That Dynamic frame with the moving side pans made for the most drivable, secure and consistent car in the series. The Classic 26D did the rest...

Edo
That is indeed the Soragna track and that's me purched on the stool in the top left corner of the picture! :smokin:
A fantastic club and a brilliant track, a quick lap with a plastc car [no mags] is about 14 or 15 seconds!
The track is made of Polistil sections [not Ninco] and has quite a smooth surface, i did manage to run a pro type retro sports car with a Gp20 motor and full depth Jet Flag guide the only problem are the narrow lane centres.

Thanks John!
The world is quite small, innit?!
Now before our American friends panic let's underline the fact that the Carrera tracks we race on are wider than the Polistil and fit 1/24 cars great.
Over and out.
