Martin, I'm not sure we determined what that chassis was for!   I have a feeling that it might have been sold carded and not under any particular body.   Maybe just a 4 inch universal chassis!

I think if you go thru this thread,  I think P says  the 4 inch wb bodies all  had the iso version of the brass frame.

Why is your chassis longer? Hard to explain, but it is not modified, so it is possible that this was for a longer body (at this time, of an unknown type).
I think that your chassis might have come from a sample sent to a distributor, that was sold and made its way to you when the hobby collapsed.

I will start to look for a Pactra body that fits the wheel base.

"Announced in a couple of American slot car magazines in late 1967 and early 1968, were three new 1/24 scale Pactra RTR models. A BRP-Ford Indy car, a Lotus 40, and a Ford Mk IV."

Hello Maurizio,
yes, we are well aware of this, and as we pointed out, these cars are now quite rare. The Lotus is the easier one to find, but still scarce. The BRP-Ford Indy car came in both Pactra (foggy red) and Competition (light metallic blue) versions (with the usual chassis differences). The Ford is the rarest, so far we have been able to account for... only TWO!
Here are the three cars plus the Competition version of the BRP-Ford, as well as their chassis. Sorry for the copyright but our pictures are now copied and published illegally by outfits such as Pinterest and others, so we unfortunately need to protect our intellectual property. It is not the slot racing enthusiasts causing the problem, but Internet thieves profiting from other people's labor.

Dok; That is the way it is. People with neither the talent nor the patience to do the work themselves will steal from others. We can still

see the subjects of the photos, so copyright on.
