How would one know this scenario? And I thought my daytime activities were boring. This is like watching people at the welfare office, angry because they have to stand up in line to get their check.

Sano III is ON THE AIR!!!
Here's the LINK
Right now, the camera is aimed at racers practicing on the King, but drivers at the flat track drivers panel are visible in the background.
We'll have some breaks in the broadcast during the day, as we relocate the camera to show the flat track.
I need some feedback, please...
Let me know if you are able to view the stream.
During the race, would you prefer the camera to be aimed at the track and drivers panel, or at the lap counter screen?

Any idea how many viewers can be online at the same time without losing the video quality?
What upstream speed do you have?
What video camera are you using?
"Ustream" appears to be better than the other online video streaming services.
I'm interested in perhaps doing a similar streaming video for the Checkpoint Cup in January at BPR.

I don't think the number of viewers is going to be a problem, but if it is it is due to Ustream's server limitations. The smoothness of the video we're sending to Upstream is, of course, primarily tied to the bandwidth of the connection.
I haven't tested the speed of the connection and can't do so while broadcasting, but will try to do it sometime over the weekend and let you know.
The webcam is a Logitech 9000 Pro, which was about $73 at Amazon.

Yeah, I taped the camera to the wall above Swiss's computer just to get everything working.
Noose and Ray Carlisi just hit the door and the plan is to connect the camera to Noose's laptop which can connect via wireless to Swiss's router and upload the video stream to Ustream. This will give us a lot of options in terms of where we can place the camera during the weekend.
