Team CORT East racer Gorski sets a new "low power" track record (4.17) and wins Can AM! Way to go John! Bryan Warmack 2nd, good drive Bryan.
On to Sunday and F1 & Jail Door!

What is "low power"? is there a VDC number you guys consider low?

I don't know about power Saturday but RetroPro Friday saw 11.6 volts while the cars were racing.

You really had to be here to realize how special this event was. The reason I say it was an event, was that while the racing was great, the camaraderie was even better. Racers from the same era and racers from different eras connected and swapped stories and shared techniques. To say it was special would be an understatement.

Kudo's to Lenore and the D3 leadership and to the guys that manned the counters at BP for making an incredible weekend.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

That's good news because they are a class act.Congrats to all of you guys. I bet poor Keith is tired because I'm tired, so when he got the time I guess we will read the full report and I can wait. ;)

I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

To Keith, and Paul S.

Thank you for a Great event. Jonathan and I had a great time racing all weekend. It was nice to see some of our old friends, and to meet new ones. Cheater thank you for all your help on the live web cam work with Keith.

Howie, and John Gorski, what can I say about these two guys they are great can't wait for a re-match in the near future maybe at the Ohio race???. What can I say about Duran, he is tough in any race, and it doesn't matter what kind of cars he is racing.

Sano Dave another great racer from Chicago, was fast all weekend just had some bad luck. Doug M a local from BPR, is super fast really enjoy racing with him.

Richie Austin, thank you for the chassis that you provided Jonathan, every chassis was AWESOME. If there is any body that cannot build these chassis, like me and would like to be very competitive in any class I would contact Richie, to have him build one for ya they are first class.

To team Cort, thank you for your help. Craig thank you for the loaner Jail Door car sorry Jonathan didn't race it the car was AWESOME in practice.

Mike Who thank you for race directing all day Sunday. Mike balances all of our armatures, he is one of the best great work and fast service.

In closing thank you Lenore, for providing us with a GREAT FACILITY to race at. Chris would be very proud of you.
