MINE! :) :) :) :)

WOW! Thanks, Noose. It really has "THE LOOK". It's so cool I had an original body, had it painted by the original artist, somehow ended up with an original "Hi Pro" motor, and got to copy the original chassis. This is one of my most favorite cars and it really hauls on Eddie's tricky road course. I'll post pictures in my original thread when she's all together.

WOW!

Now this one was done to fit on one of Tony's chassis (it's number 825 and he's up to 10,080 something!). Mike Katz had it I believe and it made its way out to Rick Thigpen.

Of course it was brought back to life in Rick's usual meticulous manner and Tony wanted a body like he ran on it. There is no Spyder or Tony P logo because per Tony that came much later. Sooo... here it is all mounted for Tony.

Now this one was done to fit the infamous John Havlicek "Stanley Sled".

As you know, John has created some really cool chassis using saws and/or scraping blades in addition to the arms he's been winding. Sooo... we put a TrueScale McLaren M8 on one of them since it was a really low body and fit well.

... sure is Rick. Joe asked me about colors and I just asked him to do the red/white/blue thing, and this is what came out :shok: . That's some scarey-great stuff right there!

Noose, very nice job on my old car. I guarantee the body would not look that good or be that high (LOL) or straight if I mounted it.

Thank you, sir.

Actually, it's as low as you can get it and still leave the nose on! It is straight though. :laugh2:

Well... Mr. McPherson wanted me to replicate a body I did for myself awhile ago. Sooo... he will get this in Columbus. Instead of my Noose logo on front, it has his.

... Man, that's a beautiful car, Joe. Do you ever miss?... Or is batting 1000 just a normal day for you? :)

In particular, this is a really attractive/elegant color combination. Striking but a little more understated than a lot of cars and the lettering is ridiculous!

Joe,

I just wanted to say I got the car back today and pictures don't do it justice. I'm trying to think of an adjective over here and "YOWSA" comes to mind :)

Thanks, man!

Victor at TrueScale was presented with this car yesterday as a token of appreciation for his work in making some great works of art for this Retro craziness we have grown so fond of these days. It was a brainstorm of Dennnis Samson so we collaborated on this.

Needless to say, Victor loved it. I took one of his Porsche 908 roadsters and used his logo color theme. Dennis made the rest of the car and presented it to him mounted in a display case suitably marked.

Exquisite! In the years that interest in scale cars was waning, Victor was one of the people that kept the faith. The car you gave him is a great tribute to a guy that deserves our respect and our thanks.

Thanks to Noose and Dennis for this collaboration to acknowledge Victor's contributions.

Tony P gets a set of semi twins... An O/S McLeagle and Ti22.

Posted Image

Jay Kisling gets an O/S Cooper F1 and two interiors for his wins at the R4 Race. I donated a body/interior for each class winner and an interior to the racer turning the fastest lap in each event. The other winners were Ron Hershman, Matt Bruce, and Dave "Sano" Fiedler. When they chose what they want they will get them.

Posted Image

And last up for now is an O/S for one of the Chicago Gang, Jim Bostrom. Only he knows why he wanted the word Magnet on it. :laugh2:

Now that the golf trip is over and my cold has subsided a bit, here are some I just finished up:

Matt Bruce won the Can-Am at the R4 and for his winnings he selected to get an O/S Lola T160 that he wanted a Betty Boop theme cuz he says Betty is very retro!

Posted Image

Ron Hershman won the GT race and for his winnings he selected to get an O/S Chevron GT with the race poster colors.

Posted Image

Our "Grammy Winner" is upgrading his fleet and here is a Lancer Cooper-Maserati and a TrueScale McLaren for the Team Music Police.

Posted Image

Posted Image

... And "Jersey John" gets this one as a surprise. John works for the electric company out here so this one has shock waves through it.
