Very nice as usual, but you are in big trouble: I was third in concours with a sharpie! LOL... It was fun Sunday.

Something special... A Gurney Eagle for Mr. Dave Schlueter aka as Mr. ISRA Go Fast and Win. I met Dave at the Sano and he asked me to do this.

Took a long time since then since I wanted to really take the time to match as much as I could. This is how I used to do my NAMRA cars because of the inspiration from the great Jose Rodriguez Jr.

If you tell me you hand-painted all those sponsor decals on the Eagle I may have to hurt you! Really great work!

How do you pick out one above the pack?

But the Eagle is great, superb, fabulous... sorry, I'm dribbling over the keyboard here, but I do like it!

That's the Noose I remember! What body is that and does it fit our cars?

Not all of them but some. AAR, STP, and Olsonite.

Thats the Noose I remember! What body is that and does it fit our cars?

It's the Lancer Indy Eagle (LAN974) and it might be a bit of a stretch to fit the wider chassis but it could. It's not legal for IRRA because it's an Indy body and not F1.

The Gurney Weslake Eagle F1 is though. This one is on the current East Coast list as approved. Tough to find them any more.

Joe, what's with "Olsonsite" on the nose? :laugh2:

A beauty for sure. Big Dan finished in second place with that three-valve Ford pushrod engine on the back of that '68 chassis.

Unfortunately only the engine still exist, the chassis was sold and crunched to oblivion, by Mosley if I remember correctly.

Every picture I found of this car had the Olsonite Eagle logo on the nose of the car.

I think he's just pulling your leg, Noose. PdL's mind is usually in the toilet... :o

Everybody knows what business Olsonite was in, right?

The official Da' Iso Tony P Spyder body to accompany another piece of outstanding work by Rick is done. Tony "blessed it" yesterday. :laugh2: It's now all set to ride upon Tony Ps 1975 Arco-USRA winning chassis.
