My question is, what type of cars or classes are we going to run this weekend?
Need time to look for rides and try to make them non magnet cars!

WOW!!! Great fun and FOOD at Pebblestone Raceway yesterday!! And Tore did make an appearance and was able to take a loaner car around the track in the "inline" class!! Mostly Slotit cars--but our host BLEW us away with a nice Toyota!! Really enjoyed the day at Dennis Samsons track---Bela, Barney, Craig, Jim, Gary, Phil, myself, Tore, and Dennis rounded out the early racers!! The track is very fun to run on-- 6 second lap times were the norm with the fastest inline cars dipping into the 5's!! The highpoint of the races was the "Italian Escape" charges--- 3 little coupes-- Red White and Yellow Mini's that are tiny with little tires and a REAL challange to drive well!!! What fun--and they have lights too!!!!
Thanks Dennis for a great time---and to your wife too for the great lunch!!! Looking forward to the next date at Pebblestone!!

IF you guys like the first weekend--maybe we can meet at the Hillside next month on the first Saturday--as Dennis has scheduled on a different weekend next month?? Just let me know--
I'll make it so!!!
Tim

My wife has been taking some photos of my cars on the PMCC track, with an eye to making some paintings later on, so I thought I would share some of them, as I think they look really good (but then I have to, right?)

Take a look for yourselves:

Nesta

Nesta,

The cars are all scratchbuilds, except the Lancia, which is a Truescale body on a TSRF frame.

The Porsche is also a Truescale body, on a brass frame.

The Lotus 72 is a Betta lexan body, the McLaren is a Classic glass fiber body. Both with brass frames and Slot.it 29k motors.

Of the two Lolas, the Gurney version is a Resilient Resins body on a brass frame, the Wall's ice cream car is a 1960s butyrate Select Innovations body on a PCB frame.

Philippe the best part is Miss Samson that sure takes care of you, don't get me started with the food, and Dennis is working overtime to help us out and all the riff raff guys from BPR are being very civil. ;)
The track is way fun to run on and the camaraderie is top notch, never left Dennis house being disappointed always a great smile on my face going home to San Diego. :)
Thanks Dennis
