Hi

Distracted by RACING!

Locally, there is a hillclimb that essentially banned racing about 10 years ago. Decided on a super scrubbed clean track for appearances and only running modern plastic RTRs.

Periodically, a friend and I would do "guerrilla racing", slip in when the owners weren't there, glue up the track and run retros or serious old pro cars. But they figured it out and got huffy!

THEN, locally, another guy has been piecing together a raceway starting with a couple of 1/32 club style tracks. Recently, they bought a Kingleman like the one at BP...and TODAY they are having their first 1/24 race for Flexis. Meaning I went on a binge of restoring old flexis, my D3s and other similar non wing 1/24s for...playing with in about an hour!

Well, my excuse for not painting this time is, drum roll please..............I want to run it at Eddies and see it move before I poke holes in Vov's lovely body. It SHOULD run just fine as this Dynamic chassis with pan combination is a proven blast from the past concept.

Anyway, that's the best I can come up with right now......... :)

I'm in the same boat, Rick.......no paint until track testing is 100% done.
Stick by your guns and high standards ;) A masterpiece cannot be rushed.
