If there was a problem, why did no one fix it ? Come on guys, you have how many decades of years experience did you have at your disposal, and no one could figure out the solution to race ???? Between Herman, George, Dennis and others , no one could figure out how to race ???? Jim is a new owner, and maybe he did not know how to setup the 4 on , 4 off but I assure you, you could have called someone like Keith, Mike Brannian or someone who could have told you how to set it up in the system. We race 4 on , 4 off all the time when we do not have enough turn marshalls. Or, run crash and burn. You did not have an overwhelming turn out, so go with the flow . Or, you could have joined Phil and myself at Eddie's Slot Car World , and had some good racing. We went to Nor Cal and no one showed up to race us!!!! It's okay, we made due. Eddie Wong is a great track owner, helluva nice guy ,, and one more owners should be like in welcoming out of town racer-guests.

Hi Mill, your suggestion to go to Eddie's (only 12 miles from my house) would not have worked for Herman and I. As for "making due", we made it clear that a test day was OK for us, but Jim rejected that idea, then left the track power off. Fred went out to the Hotel and had lunch, Hermie and I went to Philipe's for the lamb sandwiches...that was the only way we could make due. It was OK, really.

Hey George! I am with you! Where did that mis-truth come from. I actually have other words to say but maybe those who follow this blog can detect my demeanor. Eddie should not be in this business as a track owner. Gus
Gus, I have no comment on how that track is because I have been not welcome to go there as have a handful of others. Therefore, I have nothing to judge it on. Sorry to hear you don't like it. Personally, I wish I could go there as it is close to my house. It's all about a one sided 12 year war which should have come to a conclusion long ago. Eddie did good work for me when I was a track owner for which I am grateful, I'm just sorry for what happened after that. Oh well, sometimes we carry hard feelings all the way to our graves, at least I know I'm not going to do that.
Just to avoid thread creep, how does this relate to the original topic? Well, just so Jim knows, I don't have any bad feelings about the experience last Saturday, I respect his decision, and I hope everybody understands that there are consequences to decisions. For that day, us Norcals decided to cut our losses and get an early start driving home if we were not welcome to test cars. That's OK. I went up to Frank's the next day and tested eurosport experiments for about four hours. Anyway, I imagine we'll be back again later on, probably for Boola Bash. That's a great race. Hope it goes well for Jim, there is much to learn in being a track owner. I know from my own experience, and it ain't easy!

lets have some GT12 and EURO result information , there has to have been some since the change of ownership. lets get some exitement going so plans can be made. how about it guys? i know some of you may need to knock off some rust. so get knocking and let us know wasup
Last week we had three of us show up that were ready to race. Ended up testing some cars and practicing with a new controller. Heard that you were coming down Herman?
Looks like it needs some advertising on the blog and some encouragement over the phone (if anyone has phone numbers....). I always have one or two loaners. Mr. Warmack raced with us last month. I am happy to post reminders and results.
Next stops....Great Lakes ISRA on 9/11 --- then (hopefully) BPR GT12 on 9/18
So much DRAMA for such small cars....
