What a great way to burn calories! Two move-ups. I raced 24 heats straight. LOL!
John, ya did good! it is tough out there, let me tell ya. I was talking to my friend Mike Steube today, and we were commiserating on our being left in the dust by the younger generation straight out of their diapers... Us geriatrics are being pushed hard.

I can't thank Noose enough for the loaner car that allowed my run in the A main. It was absolutely hooked up. I had to work hard to keep the adrenaline from getting the best of me, racing at this level for the first time. It was a fantastic experience to race with Howie, one of the legends from "back in the day" when I was still running production stuff. I'm really looking forward to next year. Thanks to Rob, Lynn, and Noose, everyone else who made it possible and all the sponsors who donated to the prize pool.
My pleasure John. Wish I could build more but only so much time yanno. Ya did the "Skull" frame proud!

Having the fastest King is a badge of shame, not honor Philippe. But obviously not as fast yet as the BP track that has a 4.05" Can-Am record...

I am not sure of what point you are making there. My point is that each track IS different, so "records" are all relative and can only be relevant to a local track.Having the fastest King is a badge of shame, not honor Philippe.

TQ records at recent BPR races have been on very low voltage of less then 12.8v with racing lane times and laps totals sometimes into the 10v range.

You got that right, Tony."World" records stopped meaning anything as soon as the first non American king track was made.
I wish the wing community would of figured that out 25+ yrs ago.
Comparing times and lap totals from one track to another when the Hasse/Ogilvie era started, just inspired track owners into talking the track builders into building faster & faster tracks with more banking, larger radius turns and wider lane spacing.
In wing racing as the speeds have gone up, the entries have gone down.

Regardless of what BP's power is, PDL reference's to the 4.05 record there,IMHO, was wrong. It got out of hand with the tracks and the voltage being ran up higher years ago.
TQ records at recent BPR races have been on very low voltage of less then 12.8v with racing lane times and laps totals sometimes into the 10v range.
The post preceding PDL's was not a challenge to the So-Cal racers and the times they set at BP.
It was just commenting that that track was running well that day.
This thread is about Sonny's track and Sonny's race.
Not about the lucky guys in So-Cal who happen to live and get to race on a track with heavier wiring and more banking and the inevitably faster times.

This,IMHO,was another poor sportmanship post in this thread.Wo,,, all the records! John said now he has to wait till Oct to beat them down some more!
It took you exactly one minute(4:09-4:10 my time)
after Matt Bruce was posted as the winner to point out Team Cort's
John Gorski wasn't there.
