Congrats to Willy Custer, Eric Gehrken(2), and Cap Henry, on their 4 wins, sweeping the weekend at the two races, this past weekend, at the ORS and Retro East races, at HMS Speedway, and Speedzone, using the C/R Versa-bracket, in their Bartos, Gehrken, and Henry built chassis.

 

Willy and Cap also TQ'ed in their wins, and Eric TQ'ed in one of his two wins.

 

"C/R Versa-bracket, the one top chassis builders, who are also top racers, (pay for    and) use in their personal race cars".

The C/R Versa-bracket swept Can-Am the past 2 weekends at Rapid Raceway and HMS Speedways.

 

Collin Martin, Keith Libby and Dominic Luongo, went 1, 2, 3 at Rapid, with their Grandi, Grandi, and Luongo built chassis.

 

Keith Libby also won Stocker with his Luongo built chassis.

 

Willy Custer, Cap Henry and Bud Bartos, went 1, 2, 3 at HMS, with their Bartos, Henry, and Bartos built chassis.

 

Cap Henry also was runner-up in F1 with his Henry / self built chassis.

 

Will Brinkley also took the 19 lap win, in Can-Am, this past Saturday, at the SERRA opener at Speedzone PTC, with a C/R bracket in his Bartos built chassis.

Congrats to Willy Custer and Ricky Bennardo Jr. on their Can-Am and F1 wins, at the recent ORS/KOR Points/R4 Warm-up race, at Tom Thumb Hobbies.

 

They both had C/R Versa-Brackets on their Bartos, and GVP built, chassis.

Super big congrats to Cap Henry, Bud Bartos, Ricky Bennardo Jr., Willy Custer, Will Brinkley, Al Rutti, Ross Scharf, George Katzakis, and Gil Patasky on their wins and podium finishes at Retro racing's biggest race of the year, R4/10.

 

The above 9 drivers used the C/R Versa-bracket on their Bartos, Cap Henry and GVP chassis.

 

Big thanks to those chassis builders on choosing it.

 

The C/R Versa-bracket won 5 of the 6 classes,(all but GTC-FK) and sweeping the podium on 3 of them.

 

It also took 14 of the 18 total podium spots.

If you look carefully at Rick Jr's F-1 I used two of your brackets in the rear to make it stronger. That is the same car he ran last year with a puppy dog motor and finished 3rd, also the same car he won the warm up race with also. I also ran this chassis in our weekly races for months before letting Ricky take it. Doubling the motor bracket eliminated bending and motor droop.

 

Always remember stronger is better. LOL

At the Sano, in F1, using the R4/9 TQ car, I bought from Cap,  I had an axle tube shift on the .032" thick, non C/R bracket.

 

I was able able to fix it between the B and A Main.

 

I was kind of lucky of to qualify in the B, because it gave me a chance to find that issue, along with the skirts getting sucked in, on the BRM body, when I added axle collars.

 

With the skirts trimmed off, I was able to snag fast race lap by a few thou over the guys who finished ahead of me, Matt and Howie.

 

BTW, I almost said 14 2/3 brackets were used in the 18 total podium spots.

 

Yes, with a nice pull, a body will last a long time.

Congrats to Dom Luongo on his TQ in Can-Am Plus, at Retropalooza,in a nice 18 racer field, using the wide (1.380) Versa-bracket.

With the success of Dom Luongo at Retropalooza, there has been increased interest in my wide motor bracket.

With having to do a new batch, I've had Geary redesign it slightly,shortening it, to match the bracket face to axle centerline distance, of the JK, and my .75" and 1" brackets.

Retail is $12.00.

You should start to see them in some of the chassis from one of Retro racing's premier builders, in the near future.
