Dale won again and set a total lap record at Bpr

Thanks for the info, Mike.

It appears from Bryan's race report, he also won F1 with my bracket on his F1 Bartos car, and that along with the total lap record, in Can-Am, Dale set a new record for fast lap time.

Big congrats to Dale.

I finally shipped my last B/O for Versa-bracket, earlier, today.

With zero B/O's, that will give me the opportunity to do something I've been meaning to do, for awhile.

At this point forward, I will only be selling them flat, and the builder will fold them, themselves.

My commercial chassis builders have been folding them, themselves, for awhile, without any grumbling.

When I ship some new orders, I will post a few tips on bending them.

I've been selling too many, and while I appreciate the support, it's been too time consuming, and I need to free up time for some upcoming new products.

It will also give me an opportunity to now sell them to distributors.

Since making the above announcement, I have gotten these out to the distributors, for the first time.

So time to give a quick tutorial on bending them.

20180801_153616.jpg
There is really only important to do when bending them.

Support the motor face, with some sort of parallel, or near parallel, jaw pliers.

The jaws on the one, in the pic, are not serrated, but I still cover them with strapping tape to prevent marring.

On pliers with serrated jaws, invest in a cheap pair, and grind down the  points, or tape them up real well.

With the plier jaws parallel and overlapping the bending relief, just push up the bearing support side, with your fingers.

Once both sides are bent to, or near 90 degrees, you can ditch the pliers, adjust the bracket for squareness, and both left and right bottom surfaces, lay flat on a flat surface, again with your fingers.

Big congrats to Dale Yamashita on taking the Can Am win, this weekend at BP, using a C/R Versa-bracket in his self-built chassis.

Dale also used a C/R 2 degree tongue, and pinned Red Fox guide, to take the convincing 8 lap win, against the tough BP field.

Congrats to Keith Libby.

At the NERR season opener, at Bristol 1010 Raceway, Keith won both races,(TQ'ing, and setting a new track record in Can Am), using C/R Versa-brackets, in both of his CHR (Cap Henry), built chassis.
