I heard some giggling coming from the box and when I opened Marvin was cracking up.
The next thing I noticed was he looked a little green from the long trip
A nice note from Jairus and I love the Decal !

Got my car today! The Crate is home! Thanks Jairus! It's in So. Cal. again!
Barn, thanks for putting that link up.
That was such a GREAT day. Geez...that year went fast.
"No disrespect" to any other race directors but Barney wins the "Best Race Director" category hands down with a little help from his friends who know a thing or two about slot cars.
That was a hard act to follow.
Way to go Barney,
BP's circus at BP WINS! ......IMO

Blacklight arrived this morning with a nice little note. Thanks. She isn't in too bad a shape considering what she's been through. Many thanks for getting her back to me.
Now the question is, do I retire her as is, sporting her damage or do I set her up on the jig and straighten out the chassis, pull and spray another body so she looks as good as new (and may even race again)? What do you guys think?
ATB Al.
PS. You wouldn't happen to know at which race the rears were changed?

At this point I barely remember all the stuff that happened during my leg other than all the bent axles I found and replaced.

I reckon you should leave here as is. She'll only be like that once, and look at all the effort she went to get like that. What do you guys think?
Build 'Blacklight II' if you want to race the same again. It might be almost as much effort as fixing the old girl up.
I'm in the same boat with Dynogram. Into a display box, warts and all.
I reckon she looks great with all the dings, and signatures. Thanks to all who sharpied her for me.

The body looks like new, really!
And the car still runs, actually it seems smoother than before (probably the break in period is finally over
Thanks a million again, Jairus!

Thanks a million and one to Jairus and all the others who made this worldwide event happen. The Thingie Movement could rescue the world, if necessary!!
