But the biggest question of all is what 4 men will stand on the podium at the end of the madness?

We've heard from him. He' s prob'ly decided he's shut himself out of this hobby, and has gone off elsewhere; and attempts at persuasion to the contrary haven't got very far.

Craven didn't get real substantial training on Life, which wasn't his fault; and now he's unprepared to deal with Life, which arguably may not be his fault too, depending on how long it takes for him to just by damn wake up and start surviving like we all must do. Meanwhile, wish him well and be glad you and yours are (provisionally) better-equipped.

Duffy

I do hope you are right. I have tried to get ahold of him but I do hope he is doing what he can to put his life in the right path.

I wonder if Big Pin Vin will convince Gorski that they have run a 10 tooth pinion?

There is no qualifying. :laugh2:

Now a reminder:

One set of tires provided by raceway – rest to be obtained from raceway. Must start race with tires issued. JK8763PTs will be issued. All other JK treated tires (all hub sizes) may be purchased for later use.

And finally, still wondering what the frames look like? Keep wondering for awhile more. Heh heh

What you guys haven't figured out yet is, none of the chassis parts are soldered together. Everything is cut and bent to shape. Should take you geeks about 90 minutes to solder the rest of the chassis together.

Bring Iron
Flux
Solder
Jig block and rear jig wheels. I did put in the front axle and guide tongue.

Have fun!!!!

Ahh the frivolity. I wanna see who still has a sense of humor AFTER the race.

At prompting of Captain Tech Sparerib, a reminder to all:

...Go back to post #1 and review the RULES.

(Actually, I suspect he just wanted to see himself all dressed up again here. Y'know how vain he is.)

regrettable it will be necessary to limit our conversation to those`s topics other than SLOT CAR RACING for fear that team statergy or other secrets ( most notable tire press, stagger, fuel, wing setting, driver rotation, etc.) could be gleamed. This will no doubt be a very BORING 70 minute ride. But with victory almost certain the ride home should be Interesting. Good luck to all racers.

Well, I guess we won't talk about how I got a 15v capacitor in my controller box... Posted Image
