Jairus,
No one could compete with your Deora...so they put their static stuff back in the box and left to avoid the crushing blow to their ego  :ambivalent:

Might have been those wheels that sent them packing ;) The guide flag would have done it for me. :laugh2: :dash2:

I would love to have it Bob, but I can't afford the sort of money it deserves to fetch, plus now knowing a fellow blogger is onto it, I wouldn't bid.

Steve, it turned out to be the only one completed so... I guess it won!

And rightly so to.

It looks really cool Jairus. It reminds me of custom cars and car models I saw growing up in the 1960's. What year did it come out?

The original Dodge Deora was built by the Alexander brothers in 1965 out of a Dodge A100 cab forward pickup. The design was originally penned by Harry Bentley Bradley and when asked to design a line of Hot Wheels cars in 1967... Harry naturally submitted his Deora concept as one of the original sweet-16 . The rest is history.

Jairus, I have no words....

This is the BEST slot car I've ever seen: hope Franco will allow me a catwalk during the Parma Vintage Meeting on May 6.

Hats off, my friend!
