No one could compete with your Deora...so they put their static stuff back in the box and left to avoid the crushing blow to their ego
Might have been those wheels that sent them packing The guide flag would have done it for me.

Wow!! that is fantastic! i have the same model kit to build, it will not be this good, but i will do my best to copy this project. thanks for all of these posts

It looks really cool Jairus. It reminds me of custom cars and car models I saw growing up in the 1960's. What year did it come out?

The original Dodge Deora was built by the Alexander brothers in 1965 out of a Dodge A100 cab forward pickup. The design was originally penned by Harry Bentley Bradley and when asked to design a line of Hot Wheels cars in 1967... Harry naturally submitted his Deora concept as one of the original sweet-16 . The rest is history.
