Neat cars. How do they handle?
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

As far as their handling, there is no production-based car that can stay with them. Both the Unicar and the Mini Dream would spank ANY American production RTR or kit produced at the same time, but remember that by the time these were made, there were few American companies left on the market, and these Italian cars would have to compete against hand-built anglewinder machines that would have given them a run for their money.
The Fleischmann chassis is about the only other that can compete with these.

Mike,
The Aerodynamica has a very short wheelbase so the guide is not as far out there as it looks...
Here is the same chassis over a Ferrari P4:
Philippe,
The front part of that chassis has been shortened.
On my Aerodinamica the distance from center of flag to center of back axle is 128mm.
Originally there were three holes for the flag in the front part.

The picture of the Aerodinamica in the LASCM shows clearly the 128mm. wheelbase
Hope the post was not too confusing.

I think I can clarify. The original bisiluro is indeed the Tarf designed by Piero Taruffi.
The OSI prototype was called Silver Fox and was designed with input from Piero Taruffi.
As Taruffi's nickname was "La volpe argentata" (The silver fox) the link is clear.
