A great Can Am race!! Congrats to Gary Donahoe also---if not for coming out in the last couple of laps--would have taken second. But Warmack was on FIRE---and--it's his birthday too!!! Gorski got by Gary for 2nd--and Gary got third. Great race guys!!

A great win for Bryan Warmack, and special thanks to Jim and Debbie for putting on such a nice lunch for all those who attended today. Quite the change from the burnt offerings of the past. Thanks to all the race directors, and to the D3 board that kept things running pretty smoothly. One more day of racing and F1 is up in the morning.

One more thing....Aside from Bryan's brilliant Can Am win (new track total lap record) today along with Gorski (new track record TQ) and Gary Danohoe on that podium, Jay Kisling won the Retro Pro race by advancing from the B-main last night.

Along with the top wins were winners among their own peers. Congrats to all podium winners within their own groups. Oscar's 315 lap win in the D main and Nesta's ride outclassed everyone in the E main for his win. We left soon after the D group to head home 3.5 hours north.

I had a lot of fun, and hope to bring more participants from Foster's in the upcoming Western States.

Thanks Keith for WebCasting. Awesome job !!

That was a close race for awhile then Duran just ran away with it. Congrats.

A very fun Checkpoint Cup Race!!! Best one yet and I hope many more to come. Thanks to Jim and Debby for a great race place--and to all the D-3 crew that helped pull it all together!! And especially thanks to all that attended--the "Jersy Crew" and the NYr's as well as the Chicago, Washington, Arizona and Norcal contingents! All made it a LOT OF FUN to just hang/ BS toy cars and get some running time in also. I had a great time and learned even more appreciation of the PEOPLE in our little hobby-- the racing is fun but secondary to just enjoying people that love cars of all sizes!! Thanks for a very fun weekend!!! I"m gonna have to find a way to race in the east one of these days--just to experience another aspect of our hobby!!

Had a great time @ BPR for the 2012 checkpoint cup race. The folks that run the place there are great, very helpful when you ask any question. Thanks Jim and Debi i look forward to coming back in the future to race anything and everything i possible can. Thursday had the chance to race 1/32 lmps on the mini kingleman that black lane is probaly the tightest corner Iever ran on. Great race Jim and Greg look forward to the next 1/32 race. thx for all the info i soked up there greg. It was great to just relax and drive cars all week and just have fun without all the BS politics that come with some races.Besides the retro race also had a chance to drag race. thx to all the drag racers there i learned alot of helpful hints on how to build a better cleaner hardbody. thx big dog and chris for lending me cars and controllers to be able to enjoy the drags @ BPR ya'll have a great bunch of guys there that really make it a great place to race. most of all thx to Gus Kelley for making this trip possible without him i would've never got down there to have such an amazing experience.
