No Philippe, it will not be finished, and is too fragile.



It begins to resemble a car.
With too much light and not enough outdoors indoors, it is difficult to judge the color of which is that the record Caudron C460 airplane.

The transplant is successful, I manage to close the engine cover.

The motor is easily removable, just a pin was removed, and also through the engine cover has a small magnet.

I like the subtle harmony of colors between the engine, the hood, the body.

Without mentionning all the excellent work, of course.

But this comes as no surprise, as everything built by Régis...

The body is now complete, it remains to mount the engine and wheels definitive.
The large wheels have spokes are not easy to find.
I'll be buying those of Profil 24, or try to do it myself

(profil 24) wheel kit, photoetched is good, those of the Alfa 2900 B 1938 (static kit)

I use photoetched to produce the rim in two parts, with tire Ortman.

I agree with Richard that the wheels look very realistic for the build. But I have to question the use of multiple piece wheels. Can you assemble them so they spin true Régis?

Here are the latest photos, the adventure is over, the monster made its first laps on the track club.

The car weighs 180g, it's hard for the Atlas engine that burned.

I'll replace it with a modern engine if possible.
