Never mind, its been a blast. I'm looking forward to getting her home. I have some mods to make to the X-calibre mould to prevent the dam from deforming, Looking at the 'skirt' I think the aero is working hehe.
I'm very pleased that the motor didn't smoke (thanks JH).
I'll get a new bod on her and have her ready for the 'East Coast Balls Out Proxy' if it goes ahead. I might even get some testing in before hand.
She'll be back.

Randy's only notes to me were that a few of the cars were a handful to drive.
Yeah, I am certain that my car was indeed a sled! Too light and too stiff, untested, in fact too antiqued for this event.
Sent it too soon. Learned that I should wait for the very last moment to get it in. Should have driven 300 miles to test it somewhere, but couldn't do that.
If there is a continuing Proxy or "Ball's to the Wall" I will submit a different entry. "FRENCH" was not planned originally as a Proxy car but I couldn't get the various parts I needed right after I rejoined the Brotherhood of Thingies so it had to do to participate.
Beloved and departed Yvonne's birthday was September 22th and the 1st race was Sept. 30th, so it made sense. She was born in '55 and was 55 went she left the world, so that is why the car was #55. It was a tribute entry...
Next time a different story...!

Hi MIke, you going to Speedzone this year?
I won't be able to make it for the Fall Brawl this year. It has been on my calendar, but I have a conflict where we are entertaining a bunch of people at our house that weekend. Going to try to make it to the USRA Nats there in the Spring....

I sent an email to Roger at Mid-America and as of yet no reply! I will try Mike Swiss next. I am serious about the next phase of the Proxy races and I need to be much better prepared. What I thought was "in the spirit" of the event was my mistake and I want to be competitive or not participate!

Yup, I've gotten that too in past proxy races. I remember someone saying that the smoke was... spectacular to observe!
I would get those magnets zapped, pop another arm in and your good to go.
