Somehow I missed the return of this thread Rick. 

 

Yet another incredibly impressive car. Do you have an all-up weight on it? 

 

There was an article in the British mag Model Cars, I think, on an ultra-lightweight 1/32 GP car, using a lightened 13D - came in at under 2 ounces if I remember correctly...

Hi Don,

 

There is an article in the November 1965 Model Car Science magazine on a 1/32 scale version too. It is also shown on the cover. That's what inspired my build. My 1/24 car came in at 3.4 ounces.

Right you are Rick; I had forgotten about that one, but as soon as you mentioned it, the cover photo popped into my head. MCT and MCS definitely had the best photographers. And it looks like Lancer made both 1/32 and 1/24 versions of your body. 

 

Thanks for the weight too; thought it might be even a bit lighter.
