Well, I hope X-calibre improves the next time around (unless she is the car with the mechanical failure of course) definitely should have done some testing hehe. What do you think Max?
Great stuff, can't wait for the race report and the photos... So excited.

Congrats to Tony, Mike and Oscar and all the entants. Thanks to all the drivers, Randy and Eddie and Janet.
Brian. at least you finished. But you are right...Just pleased to be in it (however short lived).
The wheel tyre combo was a last minute switch because I'd had too much trued off the diameter of the original set to maintain required clearance, but only by the smallest of fractions Oh well.
Looking at how much paint has been removed from the X-calibre's skirt I think that my aero was working far too well. hehe.

The front dragged for much of the race. X-caliber would have done better if the airdam was trimmed or set up a little higher. Nice looking car though. We all thought it reminded us of a Morgan. Eddie, in particular, loved the body and style.

Congratulations Tony, tho... I figured you would end up close to the top anyway.
Very happy the casualty rate was low. (sorry Al)
No burned motors is a good sign, so onward to B.P. on the 20th!

....Randy, how about some driving impressions???
It was very enjoyable to drive other peoples cars. We all tried to be careful with them as they all had outstanding workmanship. As is often the case, some cars just worked better on Eddie's King than some of the others. It probably boils down to how much testing the cars received and, maybe more importantly, what sort of track they were developed on.
Generally, the cars near the top of the standings were the best cars to drive. My own favorite was Mike's Choti. It was just soooo very nice to slosh through the donut. Wow. Gator Boy and Thingiezilla were also crowd pleasers. Some cars were actually better than their ranking showed but were, perhaps, not as tractable for all the drivers.
I'm sure it will be a different story down south!
Randy
