Seeing the construction of the cars with all the fabulous woodworking really inspired me to have a go. Just wasn't in a position to build/compete , but will look at building a Goodwood proxy car
Long live the art of wooden slot car bodies !!!!!!!

Amen Paul.
Jairus, what's the current status on this? Have you sent back the cars? Do we owe you some postage? I kinda lost track of what's going on here....
Thanks,
Don

First and foremost a big thanks to Jairus for setting up this proxy.
Another big thanks to all participants who entered and actually made good on their words,
last but certainly not least a thanks for the tracks that welcomed us
As it was my first Balsa car and always having had a huge admiration for the people who made cars like this,
I can now say that this admiration has at least doubled knowing what it takes to make one.
I could not have said it better then Paul so I will quote him to rub it in a bit more.
Long live the art of wooden slot car bodies

Where is that?
In the meantime, I moved it into 1/24 Proxy Racing.

Well, that's kind of what I meant Mike. Somehow or somewhere it got moved from the General to the 1/32. Back in 2014 I asked it to be moved to 1/24th and only received crickets. Post is in page 6 somewhere.
Thank you Mike!

Don't be afraid to PM.
I don't read every thread or post.
Especially the ones where there aren't troublemakers involved. LOL
