I don't get it either, Steve. The culmination of the biggest proxy event the world has ever known, and then, silence.
I fear the Facebookers have abandoned us and moved on. Maybe I'm wrong, but the fact is, the silence is deafening

I am just burned out on it all Paul. Holidays are upon us, plus I have given up any hope of doing well in a proxy race. Having more fun racing Flexi cars locally anyway...and going back to professional illustration finally!

Here is the link to Mikes Flicker page of the amazing Thingee's that were at WSCC for the last round in November 2013

One note to all the Thingee participants, Its a great idea to run the motor coolers. Out track is 12.5V but the wiring is very good and the motors get strong power all the way round. There was one car that stopped with only 40 seconds to go. I think it was from the B heat, light yellow Team Last minute Men.

Here are some of the pictures guys.
I did not lose interest at all and am up for any proxy one comes up with.
This proxy I again learned some very valuable things (weight) and looking forward to implement them.
There might be something up in the near future.
And two video's

Sorry for the prolonged silence here. Nothing personal, I can assure you all!
The last time I attempted to post, shortly before the final race, I was unable to do so. I've now put that down to a temporary computer or forum glitch but I wondered for a while ...
I'll repost the final positions and work out the Choti Challenge points over the weekend.
I hope everyone here had at least some fun over the Lucky 13 series. I know it can get a little thin when things don't go well but I'm happy with the way the series ran and, compared with my previous experience, it seemed to go smoothly enough most of the time.
Regards,

Yeah Paul you took my 1st Place position from me in the last race....
I like you as a person but not as a builder or contender

Well Jaaack I post complete build threads on all my proxy cars well before the events in case anyone needs ideas.

I had found out to late but do greatly appreciate you do.
It inspires and helps others to pick up the Iron and make something.
But I think I will improve the chassis design it has now and shed some grams of it's weight.

Posted on facebook today about 6 hours ago;
"The Lucky 13 Thingies arrived back at the Team Lowrider garage about an hour ago.
I'll be mailing them out in a few days time."

Guys can anybody help me out here...
Been digging trough posts as I am trying to find a thing I promised.
I was going to give a 50/50 reward to the winner of a certain proxy race...I and someone else did it.
I think it was Bob and it was for a race on Mike´s raceway but I can not find it anymore
Now I am not certain anymore which proxy it was either..it is the heat here I tell you at 40 degrees plus my brain is not functioning properly..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Bob,
Much appreciated I trawled trough there until page 9 and then gave up...
It totally slipped my mind and I missed it somehow but have payed it now.
Hate to make promises and not keep them...nearly as much as making one and forgetting it
