Do you have to be logged into Slotblog for this to work?
I don't believe so, Pablo, though I think most have their comuters set to log them in to Slotblog automatically every time they go to the site.

So far it looks very overwhelming, Greg is very busy.
As time moves on it speeds up. Time will only get faster, as the days are shorter.
Still 24 hours in a day, yet 10,000 more things get done because, time has only just begun.
Welcome to the new day before the new year beginning! Happy New Year coming, no cheater Greg!

Just enter eBay by first using that favorite to get to the Dashboard thread and then click one of the links in the first post. Just make that one additional click to get to eBay and Slotblog benefits when you buy there.
Thanks a bunch, Don.

I would say avoid eBay and online sites.
Buy from your local track. Do you think they can stay open on track time and entry fees alone?
Small businesses need to make a profit to stay open. Most tracks are about as small of a niche business as there is. It is usually a small group of people cater to, that's you reading this, and me writing it.
Would you like a track to go to in the future? Invest in it by buying your product from them whenever possible. Where you gonna race next week, next month, next year if they close from being nonprofitable. Every dollar counts to them. Did you ever tell them "Keep the change"? Yet how much did you pay for shipping on parts they could have ordered for you.
Support you local track guys. If you don't do it, who will. How far of a drive is it to the next track? Or did they already close for lack of being able to post a profit as well?

I do buy parts from my local track. but if they don't have it in stock, and I need it for my next visit to the track, I order it online.
Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

If ONE more poster types the words "local track" as if they think everybody has one because they do, I'll scream until you hate me if you don't already
Support your local raceway if you are lucky enough to have one.
If you automatically assume everyone has one, like two arms and two legs, because you do, I'm starting a list
Can we get a little bit of tactful prose? Please? I'm going to harp on this every time I see it, at least until the hate mail starts or I get banned, whichever comes first.

Local raceways, if you have one, should be your Tier 1 support, Mailorder, other raceways, eBay, & any other source you want to use, becomes your Tier II support. I've never heard of a raceway closing because racers bought something elsewhere that track didn't carry. I used to special order a few items locally. If something didn't ship within a week or two, the raceway owner would stop trying to obtain them from his distributors. Then I had no choice but to go elsewhere & I did..
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Wouldn't Charlie's Garage technically be your local raceway? In the states of ME, NH, VT, MA,RI, & CT, we now have one commercial raceway in MA & one in CT, neither local to NH. I was traveling to out-of-state slot car races 40-45 yrs. ago. Now I'm done.
