Time to dust off this thread. I find myself to be the owner of a Kamakazi. My question is, does this likely have it's correct armature? It has red winding and is epoxied and it looks to have Mura balancing marks. The pins appear not to have been disturbed. Too bad about the crappy paint job, but then again Mura never imagined anyone would care by now.

Do you think this is a factory-built motor? It could be somebody's build with a Simco endbell. Russkit can, & French arm. Mura sold the hated pin tabs separately. The 16D French arm I owned had epoxied red windings & was drill balanced.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.
