Nice looking bodies, Jan. Are you still using the Vallejo paints? My favorite of these four would be the yellow one on the left. I've used the same three colors on bodies before, yellow shows up good out on a race track. :)

Thanks Bill.

All bodies are painted in a mix between some Vallejo paint and Fascolor paint. The bronce/gold and the white backup for all colours are Vallejo paint, the rest are Fascolor. Agree yellow and orange shows very good at a black painted track as my Blue King.

More nice work Jan. Thanks for sharing with us. Is there a purpose for those small contrasting color areas over the wheelwells, such as to make the bodies easier to see on a track, or are they just decorative?

Thanks Bill.

The contrast between red and black the customer ask me to fade them, and I used a laundery bag, cut in a piece, sticky glue on, put on the lexan, and light  spray with pearl red from Fascolor, and follow with

metal black from Vallejo. So its both a way to fade  the colors and get it decorative tto.

Dear friends

Corona  pandemy has done a lot to slotcar business, races, meeting and national champs in Denmark.

Goverment regulations and laws had closed all slot activities for the time being.

My rental business are allowed to have customers up to 8 persons each group but no bookings made,  because of the fear

to get the virus CD 19.

Take care of yours self out there and I am looking forward to normal situation and living again

Yours

Jan

Bill, the rectangles over the wheel wells are clear. Match the real LMP rules that require the tops be open

Now I  understand your question. I made them silver, rules says, that nothing of the chassis/tires must be seen from above. Jan

The bodies look great Jan! I like the color combinations you used. Are you still using Vallejo paints? How are you masking the red & green bodies to get the patterns you show? Do you have a vinyl cutter to make one large masks or make the masking in sections? You don't lay everything with tapes do you?

Hi Bill

Yes I still use Vallejo paints and some time Fascolor too.

This time I used some foam secure materiel from a postparcel

Flexibel net to stretch out to match the body wide.

Then airbrush true it, then  change colour, bingo  you got the pattern

For allmost 1 year I have been without  a room to paint bodies, because our big house sold  last summer. Waiting for a newbuild rental flat to move in the 1. of october 2022 THEN

I will have a new room of mine, to prepare cars, paint bodies etc. So i'm still alive but the corona the past year has done a lot, so the rental business at my Blue King track are running low for the time being. :victory:

Jan, having the time off didn't affect the quality of your painting. You're still doing great work. Thanks for the photos.
