You got it, DVan.
It's easy to post YouTube videos, you just have to snag the correct URL.

I killed the post since what I posted didn't work even though I've used that technique many times here at Slotblog... it doesn't work now! Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah, I was posting the same time as you to indicate it didn't, so I deleted my follow-up post as well. No problem...

Alright gentlemen, I found the source of my YouTube videos showing up as a link instead of the video ready to view.
It seems if you are logged-in into YouTube under an account the link has a "HTTPS" in it. Deleting the "S" allows the video to show up in the thread instead of the link…..
If you don't know what the difference between a HTTP and a HTTPS is, the HTTPS is a secure, encrypted link between you and the linked server (in this case YouTube). HTTP is transmitted "in the clear" with no encryption or secure link and can be monitored by people who know how to read network traffic.
So, there you are and I hope this might help others who can't seem to make linked videos show up with the movie player ready to go….

I wish there was a way we could post a video without having to put it on YouTube first. Kind of like the way they do it on Facebook, you just upload the video.

Joe,
Software and storage limitations prevent this from being possible at Slotblog. Sorry...
