Running the same motor from the B Main, Bernie took the A Main with an identical 276 laps.
David Krumnow made a nice charge the last three heats to snag second, one lap over Sano fan favorite, Guillermo Suar.
A rough last couple of heats hurt the race TQ, Tracy Chin's, chance at a podium.
Zero motor failures and a 4.900 - 5.084 spread , top to bottom, on fast lap, made the maiden voyage of the Retro Hawk a smashing success.

Sano Dave and Mike rounded out the podium with Howie fourth.
Tracy Chin on his first race ever on the C/R Flat track took a solid fifth, three laps behind his buddy Howie.
