In the A Main, flat track specialist, Tracy Chin, went wire to wire, to take his first King track victory ever.
Tracy ran a nice 272 laps, running on cruise control the second half of the race.
David Krumnow, with a quick gear fix from Cap Henry, managed to hang on for second.
Yesterday's GTC-FK handout winner, Bernie Schatz, snagged the last podium spot.
TQ, Guillermo Suar, lost a chance at a podium with a rough heat on green, despite turning fast time of the heat.
The Retro Hawk hand-outs again were terrific.
The top five drivers had fast lap times of 4.980 - 5.071 and the top four, an even tighter 4.980 - 5.026.

Cap Henry, essentially, went wire to wire to take the win from a fast Ralph Thorne.
Cap escaping a rough third heat was part of the difference.
Sano Dave took a hard fought 3rd place, for his third podium of the week.

David,
Sorry we could not watch last night or today. Too busy at the track. We were all rooting for you and Cap.
Good job!!!! Just saw the results and fast time. Tell everyone that they are more than welcome to race at our place and introduce us to the world of Retro.

What's up with the low car counts?

What's up with the low car counts?
The low car count is likely due to the FK/PD split where racers may chose one or the other.

Can-Am Flat Track
Seventeen entries
TQ - Sano Dave Fiedler - 5.00.
We lost a few from F1 Flat but gained a few new ones, to have 17 again.
In the eleven- man round robin B Main, Tracy Chin and Rick Stagen dominated to take the two move-ups.
Dave Crevie, after a slow start on the high lanes, won three heats in a row, to give Rick something to think about, and took third.
Noose didn't miss the esses one bit, and took a nice fourth.

In the A Main Chuck lead early, but a 29 (?) on red gave Sano and Matt the opening they needed.
Sano took the two-lap win, with his fourth podium in four races this weekend.
KVP rounded out the podium, just edging out Chuck for third.
Tracy took a nice sixth in his first weekend on the C/R Flat, to go with his fifth in F1 Flat yesterday.
The top five finishers this year were the same five from last year, with none of them finishing in the same position they did the year before.
Last year three laps separated the top five, this year three laps separated the top four.

Can-Am FK hand-out
Thirteen entries (1 DNS).
TQ - Guillermo Suar - 4.728 (Mike Swiss - 4.709 - DNS).
Guillermo used his third place GTC-FK motor from Friday.
I used my the motor I "qualified" 4.897 with in my F1 and raced in Can-Am Flat track on Saturday.
In the B Main it was Eric and Greg, pretty much wire to wire, with a slight challenge from fifteen-year-old Austin and Doug, early, and Keith, late.
