Running the same motor from the B Main, Bernie took the A Main with an identical 276 laps.

David Krumnow made a nice charge the last three heats to snag second, one lap over Sano fan favorite, Guillermo Suar.

A rough last couple of heats hurt the race TQ, Tracy Chin's, chance at a podium.

Zero motor failures and a 4.900 - 5.084 spread , top to bottom, on fast lap, made the maiden voyage of the Retro Hawk a smashing success.

In a race where at least the top three were were less than a lap apart for the first six heats, Ralph took the win, finishing under the bridge while Sano Dave was in the Deadman.

TQ, Matt Bruce was two laps back, for third, while Cap Henry finished fourth in his Sano debut.

Kevin charged back hard the last half of the race to take fifth, only a lap behind Cap.

hey noose,

You are really cranken'! You turned more laps in the A Main than the B Main. Looks like a great prep for Port Jeff. You did a great drive for yourself and Retro East™.

If Matt Bruce isn't the classiest guy in Retro, I don't know who is.

Hi Howie,

I watched your prep and it was faultless. Your car was quiet and fast and looked like it tasted like honey but could sting like a bee! Keep the faith and your prep schedule; it will all work out.

In the A Main, Sano lead early off of black.

Mike took over the lead the 4th and 5th heat after running yellow and orange.

Matt, after a rough start, caught fire the last three-quarters of the race and took the nice four-lap win.

Sano Dave and Mike rounded out the podium with Howie fourth.

Tracy Chin on his first race ever on the C/R Flat track took a solid fifth, three laps behind his buddy Howie.
