Sounds good!
An old, fat, but good looking racer might have Tuesday or Wednesday available this week for cheap. Could you use the help?

That would be great.
Mark R. has successfully got his son sent off to Italy so his schedule has freed up a bit to help me.

The burning question is, is the Sano warm-up still on for this weekend?
I don't have a car to race, but I have a decent set of hands for marshalling. (for a younger, overweight-er, better looking than KVP type of guy)

I have all the taps in place and control panel rewired, but braid gluing help won't be here until Saturday.

Younger = no contest.
Weight = not going there. Probably got ya beat.
Looks = Well, I'm not gonna be the judge of that. Need impartial female judging for this.
I should probably stick to cleaning/gluing/assembling/disassembling tracks.

Two and a half weeks to go, getting really pumped.
It has been sooooo long since I've pulled the trigger.
I know you are busy Mike, but any previews of the T-shirts or awards?
Have you decided on a CA+ race?
And Lumpy, there is no need for any female judging. Anyone with two eyes can see the obvious.

I spoke with Mike tonight regarding the T-shirts and plaques.
Despite his burning the candle on both ends working toward getting the shop up and ready for racing, he has talked with our buddy Ralph Thorne about making event shirts and plaques. I should have known Mike would have a handle on it, after all this is not his first rodeo.
He will get something posted later if time permits.
As for the CA+ race, he is consulting with Noose and the East coast contingent as to their travel schedule, when best to add this into the race schedule.

Kevin,
Thanks for posting.
I talked to Noose earlier and firmed up the exact schedule, which will include CA+.
Noose will post it tomorrow, but IIRC, CA+ will be Saturday night.

Excellent news. Now all I need is a good CA+ chassis!
Track is looking awesome too, I expect some records to fall with the changes you've made. Well worth the extra effort putting it back together.

I'll donate a free chassis as a race prize to the lowest main winner in GTC-FK
Since I'll be out of the country til November 23 the winner will have to be patient

GREAT NEWS! Just got off the horn with Swiss. All inspections passed so we are ready to rock and roll for Sano 8! Looks like he will get the local Wednesday night group in to run a race on the King which should run in all the lanes evenly.
I may go Wednesday night and run an Open 12 and RetroPro car on the Flat track to get that run in as well. Mike tells me Thursday will be available for all day testing. I will get times and post later.

Congrats on the new place, Mike. I think you had a few people a little worried about being finished on time but from the looks of the few pictures I've seen it was worth it.
This year's Sano should be a great one ! Good luck to everyone at the race. HAVE FUN.
