Does the red dot turn down or face up when you zap it?

Thanks,

I always place the "South" or axle facing magnet "up" when zapping normal motors.

Out here, the red dot sits closest to the guide flag when mounted in a Turbo Flex chassis. :)

Unless you have a cobalt magnet zapper, don't even bother.

The ceramic zappers don't do anything, but if done backwards it knocks down the strength.

Bill,

Is that how he convinced distributors to sell to him?

He states he double zaps these motors.

It is always amusing to read his descriptions of what he claims are "Racing Mods".

Dipping motors in "Snake Oil" for 60 sec at 4 volts is the best way I've found to break-in a fresh Falcon 7... and then I leave them overnight under my 1/24 scale Great Pyramid {just like the one Koford uses}... but the next step involves a chicken, a sharp knife, and a tribal dance...

Sam, I don't know what his claim to fame is. I only read his descriptions on eBay when I need a dose of humor. Over the years, it looks like the majority of his products come from a distributor in Florida, but maybe not all. He might double zap his motors, but does it do anything for them? I doubt he has a cobalt zapper. I could triple zap them with my Simco, but it would be a worthless waste of time. :laugh2:

The seller has been advised by the trademark holder to cease or desist from using the Falcon 7 trademarked name. The patent and trademark holder does not appreciate the seller implying that the standard Falcon 7 can be improved by re-magnetizing its powdered ceramic-cobalt combination magnets, since that is unlikely to succeed without a magnetizing machine the size of a house.

Snake oil, it is.

Actually, I have found this to work pretty well, however, it is not the "best". The very best is using snake milk for this purpose.

Of course... milking the snake can be a bit dicey. Maybe that's why this is not so popular as other methods.

I think it would be more efficient to simply zap the snake. ^_^

You both can make the oil and/or the milk more effective by 15-25% by adding 30% pectrons (by weight) to the fluid of your choice. And IF you use Animated Pectrons, your improvement will triple.

Some racers are looking for that added edge. Real or perceived.

T-LN All I can tell you is that the PCH Screamer Motor will have more punch when you hit full throttle and it will have better brakes for a few races but if you run them too hot you will lose both and they will not run any better than any bag motor.
