9:30 AM - Tech opens for Stock Car on the Hillclimb. Entry fee $20. Tier 2 format - qualify and run for laps.

GTC-FK - Tech will open one hour after Stock Car A Main. GTC races will be on the King

GTC-Pro - Tech will open one hour after the GTC-FK A Main. Entry fee $20. Winner of the of the GTC-FK main will get free entry into the GTC-Pro race.

Saturday, May 31 - Raceway will open at 7 AM.
Can-Am on the King. Tech will open at 10 AM. Entry fee $20. Tier 1 rules apply - qualifying and move-ups.

Sunday, June 1 - Raceway will open at 7 AM.
Formula 1 on the Hillclimb. Tech will open at 10 AM. Entry fee $20. Tier 1 rules apply - qualifying and move-ups.

Here are the tracks that will test the families.

The King is ~ 5 thou to flush.  The Hillclimb I have to check as it was rebraided too.  Will get back to you.

I assume it will be. We'll be discussing it as time goes on. It may not need to be either. Get your Thunders ready. LOL.

I have never raced on PJ's Hillclimb.

What are recommended gear ratios and tires for Stock Car and F1 there?

Thanks in advance,

Since F1 is on the Hillclimb, will you make the list if you podium in it?

Eric: Correct as that is the track designated.

Haruki: Assume you will run a Hawk Retro for Stock Cars. Try 9/28 or 8/27. Treated tires. If a TSR I would try 8/27.

For F1, if PD 7/29, Hawk Retro same as above and tires the same. It could be possible that some soft Wonder might work on that track, too.

Loving the idea of F1 on the hillclimb. As of now I'm 95% sure I can make this event.

I lived in Providence between 1977 & '79.

Rhode Island is a very nice place.

The good news it wasn't work this time, it was the other boss. My wife started a new job that requires her to work every other weekend. Guess what weekend she is working.

Note the new IRRA™ announcement for the Formula 1 Class, allowing the use of .790" rear tires and .040" rear clearance. These will be allowed at this Premier Event!
