OK, the "families" will be working on getting together for the fifth time at the World Famous Port Jefferson Raceway. Said meetings will take place May 29-June 1.

The reigning "Don" also known as Ray "Bugsy" Duran will look to keep the title remaining with CT family while the Underboss, Ed "Edsel" Sohl, will look to bring to Lawn Guyland. Of course the previous Don, Matt "Handsome" Bruce will surely be working his way around the table. Once again the Tokyo family will be represented by Haruki Kan and who knows what weaponry he will bring this time.
So here's the schedule:
Wednesday, May 28 - Raceway will be open from 1 PM until 10 PM, pit pass $10.
Thursday, May 29 - Raceway will be open at 7 AM, pit pass $10.
7 PM - Tech opens for RetroPro on the King. SCRRA rules. Entry fee $20. Will not count toward the Championship.
Friday, May 30 - Raceway will be open at 7 AM. All further events run under IRRA™ rules.
8 AM - GTC FK hand-out motors distributed (JK Hawk Retro motors). Entry fee $30 and includes one motor. A second motor may be purchased for $11.
9:30 AM - Tech opens for Stock Car on the Hillclimb. Entry fee $20. Tier 2 format - qualify and run for laps.
GTC-FK - Tech will open one hour after Stock Car A Main. GTC races will be on the King
GTC-Pro - Tech will open one hour after the GTC-FK A Main. Entry fee $20. Winner of the of the GTC-FK main will get free entry into the GTC-Pro race.
Saturday, May 31 - Raceway will open at 7 AM.
Can-Am on the King. Tech will open at 10 AM. Entry fee $20. Tier 1 rules apply - qualifying and move-ups.
Sunday, June 1 - Raceway will open at 7 AM.
Formula 1 on the Hillclimb. Tech will open at 10 AM. Entry fee $20. Tier 1 rules apply - qualifying and move-ups.
Here are the tracks that will test the families.
Gerding King: Braid depth .005" to flush.
135' Hillclimb: .010".

The King is ~ 5 thou to flush. The Hillclimb I have to check as it was rebraided too. Will get back to you.

What are recommended gear ratios and tires for Stock Car and F1 there?

Eric: Correct as that is the track designated.
Haruki: Assume you will run a Hawk Retro for Stock Cars. Try 9/28 or 8/27. Treated tires. If a TSR I would try 8/27.
For F1, if PD 7/29, Hawk Retro same as above and tires the same. It could be possible that some soft Wonder might work on that track, too.
