I've thought about that...
When we unloaded today noticed that 2-3 sections will need re decking as some moisture got to them, two straights and possibly the 180 of the finger. Not a big deal, I bought this one for the electric parts anyway. The rest is in very good condition. Might set it up to work on in my garage, which is where I was originally going to set up the Hillclimb.
Getting anxious to be up and running. Hoping you and the Central Tn racers will come help me break it in.

We will for sure. Just waiting on a date.
Thank you for putting the effort into giving us a place to race.

With the purchase of the extra King from Thunder Mountain last week we are keeping our plans pretty "fluid".
We were originally going to focus our funds on getting the drag strip up and going first. We have shifted back to the Hillclimb.
We are doing all of this on a shoestring budget and with work being so busy I haven't had time to get out and drum up the sponsorships that we are promoting.
With the King purchase we got everything we needed to get the Hillclimb up and running; two detachable drivers stations, a Bulldog 90A with 3 fared cap and digital display, two 8D batteries, SRT system complete, and a very nice relay board and wire harness.
I think I am going to rework the joints so it can be easily disassembled and reassembled and switch to sectional braid.

Alan,
I was in Cleveland yesterday and stopped by the shop hoping to meet you in person, no luck, work must be crazy.
The place looks great and great storefront. I don't get to race/play much but I'm looking forward to the grand opening!

Soddy Daisy... in the shadow of "the nuclear plant"??!!
I used to live in Chattanooga, and made frequent visits to the Cleveland area. Next time I shoot up I-75 I'll have to make a stop. It's always good to see new tracks opening.
Best of luck!

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Work has been crazy; even had to work today, but the track comes in tonight!
Putting finishing touches on cabinets, counters, and displays.
Any locals or just in the area feel free to stop by tomorrow after 2ish.
Hopefully I'll have the energy to post pics tomorrow night.

Must have stressed my knee last night so laying low today, but if you're in the area and want a look around, just call. I live upstairs and will gladly show the place off.

Alan,
How's the raceway coming?

Hi Alan,
It's been awhile and I haven't heard anymore on the progress of your raceway.
Any updates?

Finally took some time at the beginning of Dec. The bottom layer is together and close to being level... quite a bit of adjustment needed. Just a note to those taking tracks down for storage... don't take the sides off if you don't have to.
Hopefully work will be slow enogh these next couple of months to get this thing up and going.
