Sorry Tim, that was too easy.
How true !
What makes it LTO???
The varied stiffness of the L/R rails based on the longer solder joint on the right rail.

Bob, my opinion is, you are really cooking on the front burner lately and I like seeing it.
That chassis is what I would call "elegant in it's simplicity". It looks straightforward, but has a lot of things I really like about it.
Not to mention, SANO to the max

Bob, when in the past was this chassis built & raced? Any interest in running Indy cars on Florida ovals other than the one roadster race?
Posted 10 January 2015 - 11:30 AM
Hi Bill,
I built it for Kenny Snodgrass to run as the #22 in the AAA/USAC Indy proxy event held in Sept. 2014.
We got it dialed in on Kenny's home track "Brandywine", it was fast but on a 'flat' oval but really needed to stay up on the wheel 'controller'.
Kenny thought it best to go more conservative for the event considering there will be 8 guys driving it.
I added a center plate, cut to length to match the exact amount of lead weight that was added in testing.
Here is a picture of the car as raced. Bottom right.

Only two Indy races last year on Bill Pinch's oval .. these as a proxy and a Retro spec type car race for the GRRR guys.
