Amazing you race with retro Hawks. Amazing. But maybe I have misunderstood. My limited experience with retro Hawks is , uh, just s tiny bit underwhelming. But that's just me. My experience is as limited as my world view.

When we decided to get $100 wing cars going again at BPR the Retro Hawk was chosen because most involved also race retro CanAm and F1, where the Retro Hawk is the primary motor. All of us had RH motors that were still quick but had lost breaking power to manage 90+ gram cars... thus the light weight wings were a great way to use those motors.

Last night Chuck "Mr Vteck" Vaughn said he'd make chili for the July 3rd race.

I had a great time at the Wing Car race today. Great turnout with 13 racers entered. Chuck Vaughn's chilli was "smoking hot" but I'm told by my wife it was very good. Here's a little video clip of today's action with Debbie's race report to follow up shortly.

I think we need to look at Running the PS/FK 4002 in these Races for those that might go to the Nat's next year

I heard due to the Super Bowl conflict ( watching the game and a 3 hour eating binge), the next Wing Car race was pushed back to Sunday 2/12 starting at 4 pm.
