Body in progress. Inside decals on a Parma short TI-22. Cobra decal because it is, after all, the Snake Bite.
It's ready to rock, passes the drivetrain test, and the lead wire loops actually influence the pan assembly to shift inside in turns.
Don't know if it actually will work, but it can't hurt.

Really cool! Greg shared with me the concept, really neat piece.

With the tongue connected the the V of the rear section and the front axle mounted to the pan part, the motion is about as close to a center hinge as you could get without putting a center rail into a tube. At least that is the way I see it.
Not saying anything about the concept, just thinking about how it will move and if it will work.
Very cool.

Eddie, my friend,
The relative motion between the two pieces of the chassis should look familiar.
The other concept involves where the "top pan" weight is supported, at the front of the "center section", and how movement in all three dimensions can be adjusted.

I thought the name on the body first read "Bubba", then I see it says something else.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Very cool! And not just because it's blue, but that doesn't hurt. LOL!!!

Chassis looks great, Pablo.
I designed one very similar to this about six years ago and it ran quite well.
A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

The sad news is that when I went out to test it after installing a different set of tires, I was also testing new Lucky Bob's controller which has a polarity switch. Unfortunately, I first placed the car on the black lane and hooked the controller up with polarity switch on the wrong setting. Bang! Full bore into the deadman wall, bending the rear bracket and binding up the rear end.... sigh...
The good news is the Retro Hawk motor in the car is STOUT and Jay is going to use it in one of his race cars. And Pablo has asked me to send the chassis to him ASAP so he can repair the damage. What a great guy he is...
As they say, that's racing...

OK so you crash tested it, that's good. Send 'er back to the Ranch, I'll evaluate and strengthen the weak point.

Almost as good as a CAD plan, eh? (don't answer that )
I'll bet you can figure out the bracket will be wide, but not angled, BBs installed direct to the bracket sans tubes.
No way you can figure out my front nosepiece plans - unless you can read my mind.
