The damage was minimal. Left side of bracket was bent, but it still remained soldered to the rails. In fact, only one solder joint on the entire car broke. The car would have still be raceable had it had BBs instead of bushings. Back at "The Ranch", once the bracket was unsoldered, the .078" rails went "sproinggg" right back into (almost perfect) original position:
