This concludes today's racing at the R4, although the raceway is remaining open until 10 PM for more testing and dialing-in.
Tomorrow is Can-Am, always the most popular class at the R4. It is expected that the entry for Cam-Am will significantly exceed the 54 entries seen today in the GTC class.

Is there a Ustream link?

Noose finally found a Concours he is eligible for!

Cheater posted a link somewhere, but try this Zippity.

The live streaming link is always posted in the subform for the event, as is the case for the R4. See this screenshot:
In addition, since I made the post with the link at 9:51 AM this morning, the 'live streaming' thread has been listed in the "Recent Topics" list in the RH sidebar and will probably not "fall off" this list until sometime later tomorrow. See this screenshot:
Could someone help me to understand why a non-trivial number of members aren't seeing this info? I have my suspicions as to the reason, but would like to hear what those having trouble locating the information say first.

I mentioned in post #1 that we were honored to have four raceway owners in the building today and I need to revise that number. We're now up to six.
GTC-FK racer Scott Hall is one of the owner/partners in Tri-State Raceway in Hamilton, OH, a fact of which I was unaware until later in the day.
And about 7:30 PM tonight, who should walk in the door but Paul Pfeiffer, owner of Alpha Raceway in Fond du Lac, WI. Paul was the USRA Group 7 National Champion for three consecutive years, from 1981-83, which puts him in a very rare category. Paul indicated he was going to try to return for most of the day tomorrow and I personally hope that's the case as it's always great to see him.

Greg,
I don't see all that other stuff coz I click on "view new content" when I click on my Slotblog bookmark.
Posted 18 March 2016 - 08:50 PM
Ron,
Since I made the standalone streaming link post at 9:51 AM Eastern time this morning, it would have appeared in your View New Content search results at least once since that time, assuming you don't have some weird VNC search parameters specified.
Humor me this please: click View New Content and look on the left side, where you will find three parameter settings: By Content Type, By Time Period, and Other. Would you let me know what your settings are under each of those three headings?

Trevor,
The ever-helpful Bill Fulmer has been taking the documentation car photos at the R4 for number of years, though I think I did it for the first year or so.
A few days after the event he usually will post a link to a photo hosting site containing all of the car pics, both top and bottom. Patience...

Ron,
Suggest you change "By Time Period" to past 24 hours. I believe (though I've not tested it) that the setting you have now for that parameter will only show new threads since your last visit, and not new posts made to threads you've already seen.
Certainly with your current setting, if you've seen something once you won't see it again on subsequent visits to the blog.

Awesome coverage, Greg.
Super-awesome job by the Tom Thumb staff on moving things along.
And in a brief PM with Noose, he mentioned zero motor failures on the Hawk Retros (55 total entries).
