Mike, so for best results the body needs to be trimmed off on the bottom edge and wheel cutouts need to be made?

Yes, the bottom needs to be trimmed.

The wheel wells really don't need to be.

KVP,

I've thought about this more, and if you didn't have much extra plastic hanging down, it could be done, but if you're mounting the body that way , eventually using the pans as your guides to trim the bottom excess plastic, I'm not sure using these would be a big advantage, especially if you have the body clear where you are pinning.

Great idea Mike I'd love to get a set when you start taking orders.  In my old age the eyes have failed me several times and some of my bodies look like Swiss (pardon the pun) cheese.  I cover it up with tape but the body is still weak in those areas.  I turned to cutting and pinning bodies before painting but this would make pinning even painted bodies a breeze.  Great job and thanks for helping us older guys out.

Mike,

I received my two blocks. I just mounted three bodies as fast or faster, and with no additional holes, than I used to do one. Plus I got faster as I did them. Accuracy, speed, small to easily fit in the box  and low cost - can't be beat!

On my 3rd batch of these.

The raceways carrying these, include;

At the Track - South Bend, In.

HVR - Hyde Park, NY

PCH - Ventura, Ca.

Tom Thumb - Columbus, Oh.

Along with being available to raceways, the C/R pinning jig will work with all width chassis.

With the C/R system, you won't be guessing if the body is in the right place over the chassis.

You can see under the car to confirm the fore-aft position, in conjunction to the guide flag , and can, and should use it with the rear tires on, to confirm squareness to the rear.
